This is molecule of imidacloprid (4 different views), an insecticide that is believed to be responsible for colony collapse disorder in honey bees. Imidacloprid belongs to a class of compounds called neonicotinoids. These act as insect neurotoxins and are only moderately toxic to humans but highly toxic for bees and other insects.
